Accessibility Statement

1. Our Commitment

Handled Legal Technologies, LLC, doing business as Handled., wants legalhandled.com to be usable by everyone, including people who use assistive technology such as screen readers, screen magnification, voice control, or keyboard-only navigation. Accessibility is an ongoing effort, not a one-time project, and we review and improve the site as we find gaps.

2. Standard We Are Targeting

We use the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, as our reference standard. WCAG is the most widely recognized accessibility standard and is the benchmark referenced in most U.S. accessibility guidance and litigation.

3. What We Have Done

We do not claim full conformance with WCAG 2.1 AA. Steps we have taken so far include:

  • Descriptive alt text on meaningful images, and images that are purely decorative are hidden from assistive technology.
  • Form fields on the site are labeled so their purpose is announced by screen readers.
  • Dialogs (such as trial and license consent) use standard dialog roles and are labeled by their own heading.
  • A single, logically ordered heading structure on each page, and one main heading per page.
  • A "skip to main content" link at the top of every page, so keyboard and screen-reader users can bypass repeated navigation.

4. Known Limitations

We have not run a full audit against every WCAG 2.1 AA success criterion, and we expect to keep finding and fixing gaps as the site and product evolve. This statement reflects our current, honest understanding of the site rather than a final claim of compliance.

5. Feedback

If you use assistive technology and run into a barrier anywhere on legalhandled.com, email [email protected]. Include the page and a description of the problem so we can find and fix it. We review accessibility reports and prioritize them alongside other product issues.

6. Changes to This Statement

We may update this statement as the site changes or as we make further accessibility improvements. The revised statement will identify its effective date.
